Moving to house wired for Verizon

Hello,

We are moving and would like to transfer our internet (we just use wi-fi, we have no cable tv services).The house we are moving to is currently wired for Verizon services. Our landlord is concerned it would need to be re-wired, etc. But, this is not the case, correct? When I put the address in on the app to schedule a transfer, it says self-installation is an option. 

So, that would entail no possible damage/change to the actual home, correct?

@user_0f45ef If the house is wired for Verizon FIOS then no, you can't set up Comcast services on that wiring; the house would have to be wired for cable by an electrician and cable would have to be run outside as well.

Is Comcast service available at that house?

@Again when I started a request to transfer service, inputting our new address, the Xfinity app stated we could transfer service with just self-installation. Does it make a difference if we are only using Xfinity for WiFi and not tv services?
