Moving my gateway

My coax cable connection into my new house is apparently in the corner of the basement far from the main living area of the house. I put the router there and speeds to the rest of the house are anemic at best. I purchased a set of the xFi Pods which help but I really want to move the gateway to a more sentral location.

What's the best way to get Xfinity to move where the coax enters the house so I can set up my gateway where I want it?

Thanks

Call in and set up an install/change of service. Though the pandemic is limiting what techs are able to do, you may be better served getting an electrician out to run a cable outlet You most likely can’t move it from the point of entry because of grounding the incoming cable
