Move in issue
Hi Comcast Support,
I was told by customer service that my previous modem wasn’t compatible with my building and that I’d receive a replacement. The new equipment I have received was not compatible with the building. An agent told me that a new device would be sent to me but it never arrived. When contacted again. I was then instructed to pick up the new modem at the Xfinity Store on 715 7th St NW, Washington, DC— but when I went there, they told me no modems were available.
I also brought my two older modems to return, but the store staff did not accept them telling me that modems are not to be returned.
I’ve already made multiple trips and can’t make any more. Could you please arrange to have the correct modem shipped to me directly and confirm what I should do with the two older devices?
Thank you for your help — I just want to get this resolved as soon as possible.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.
