Motorola Modem only showing 4 upstream channels but should be 8.
I logged into my Motorola Modem MB8600 but it shows 32 Downstream channels but only 4 upstream.
Is there something wrong? I already reset the modem. I wish I could post the screenshot here.

There is no "should be" when it comes to the number of bonded channels. Every local market area is different. Their engineering / capacity planning dept's decide what is needed depending on the amount of utilization in any given local segment that a CMTS serves. I have never seen 8 upstream channels anywhere yet. 3 to 6 is typical.
