Motorola MB8611 ...... come on Xfinity, figure this out

I don't need to go over all the other forum posts on here.

Motorola MB6811 is an approved modem that keeps getting some kind of firmware update sent to it by Xfinity over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over AGAIN. My connection drops multiple times per day and have had to switch back to an older modem for now.

Can two massive corporations find a way to communicate with each other and actually fix this? Motorola, looking at you too otherwise I'm returning this garbage and getting a diff brand.

Queue the automated "forum moderator" response: "Hi this is timmy with xfinity service, please provide your X, Y, and Z details so we can look into this for you, blah blah". Nope, how about you resolve all the other people's issue first? I'll find out through the grapevine it's actually fixed, otherwise please don't waste your time or mine. Fix it.

Problems here with MB8611, just like everyone else. Unexplained outages for the past few months, usually one a week or so. Upload arrow just blinks and nothing works until ultimately it does again.

@XfinityDevinC I did this an hour ago. That message center is about as responsive as this modem.
