Motorola MB8600 reports Pwr levels out of range -10 to +10 dBmV
MB8600 Connection report page is stating 3 channels are over +10 dBmV and it reports 3 Upstream channels are 50 dBmV or higher. Motorola support thinks this maybe the reason I am getting occasional drop outs and a Critical (3) error stating UCD invalid or channel unusable error message.
I had the Motorola tech speak to a level 2 Comcast support agent with me on a conference call, and the Comcast rep immediately rolled an independent provider truck out for the next day. The field tech claimed that everything was in spec according to his equipment. His manager he connected me with stated Comcast tells them the acceptable range actually is -13 to +13 dBmV.
Everywhere I look on the internet begs to differ... so which is it?
