Good afternoon user_ai37pt. I would be happy to assist you with this. I do just have a few questions to help me better assist you. When the modem is connected, what color light do you have currently? Do you have the Xfinity App? If so, you can activate the gateway with the app https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/activate-xfi-gateway-app.
