I was told that ARRIS TG1682 is compatible with xfinity yet I cannot find this modem to connect my internet. I had asked 3 different reps before I purchased the xfinity self install, any help would be appreciated.

Your post is not totally clear, but if you are talking about buying one, the 1682 is not a retail available device. It can only be rented from them.
