modem upgrade?
your assistant is really useless, and it doesn't like when I ask anything but a simple question. The xfinity app has been suggesting that I should call to schedule an equipment update (modem?) for faster speed? I have an xb7. I see there is an xb8. We have no wifi 6e enabled devices in the house yet, so nothing will be faster? The 2.5Gb port on the xb7 has flaked out and does about 250mb/sec, so I switched the wired network to a 1gb port. It does not look like by download speed has changed. Other than the flaky network port is there any reason I should upgrade, or is comcast trying to get the xb7s off the network?
