modem requires manual turn off and on every morning

Hi,

Before, it was working fine for months.  Now, I am have to turn it off and on every morning.  

It's a Hitron Coda modem.

 if you're having internet connection issues this link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/internet-connectivity-troubleshooting that's great information on how you can troubleshoot your Internet services via our awesome Xfinity app. The app will walk you through some remote troubleshooting steps to try and resolve the issue if the issue cannot be resolved remotely are awesome Xfinity assistant will work with you to schedule for a technician to come out and fix the issues

I called in and my guess is that the firmware had to be updated.  We'll see going forward.

@westcoasterya Firmware updates are automatically done we do try and do those when we feel most customers are not online using services

I believe firmware updates have to be done by the isp and my guess is that it fell through the cracks and has not been done.
