Modem rebooting

Everyday around 1-3pm MST, modem rebooting itself. I have power cycled modem. Seems to be an issue for about an hour and then is fine until the next day. Modem is Arris SB6190. I have tried two modem of the same type. I have logged into the modem admin settings and have screenshot of all the tabs showing connection status etc.

Modem is on a table, well ventilated and connections are tight

I definitely know how important it is to be connected in your home at all times user_gzn98y, especially during those prime 1-3 hours, so I appreciate you stopping by our community to let us know what's going on for us to help 👍 To confirm, you're saying that you've tried two different models of the Arris SB6190 on the same outlet in your home, with both of them losing power completely around the same time?

No power loss. Modem reboots itself. Once booted, internet works fine for about 5 min. Then another reboot. Possibly too much power coming from the coax to the house?

Okay thanks for the clarification! Since you're not using an Xfinity modem, and the issue repeated itself with two modems of the same build, there could for sure be something going on within the outlet itself. Do you by chance have any other outlets in the home you can try setting your modem up with?

So here's the crazy part. A technician came out today to check it out. He disconnected a splitter on the roof and reconnected it after testing. I guess the splitter was used to degrade signal strength on purpose. This afternoon was the first afternoon in 3 weeks that the issue didn't occur

The crazy part being, the only adjustment made was removing splitter and reconnecting. Indicating that maybe something so minor as retightening that connection has resolved it?

That is definitely odd. So as of now, you are having no service issues? We can continue to monitor the issue, I would just need to get some account information, so we can track it.

I am having this same exact issue for about a week now. Between 1300-1500 EST, WiFi reboots and about 5-10 minutes later, everything is back up and running. Coax is tight, routers reboot also. Ethernet connections lose connection also. Is there planned maintenance every 24 hours with XFinity, or IP address refreshes that could be scheduled for after hours?
