Modem not working app doesn’t register problem

My Xfinity modem stopped working around 7 today. The app says that it is fine and there are no outages but it is unable to check the connection. The light on the modem cycles between yellow, flashing yellow, flashing green, and then going back to yellow. I have already tried restarting the modem and using different coaxial outlets so any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Good morning user_y93fu1. Thanks for reaching out to us on our Xfinity Forums for help with your home internet trouble. I'm sorry for our delay and for the internet trouble you are having. I know how much we rely on the internet so for it to be offline for any amount of time it can cause great issues. Based on the description of the light flashing I would ask that you check the connections to the modem for the coaxial cable. There might be a loose connection causing an issue with the RF signal connecting to the network. Are you still having trouble with the connection? I would love to make sure that we have you back online with no additional issues.
