modem mb8600 reboots every day

I need help with my modem, a Motorola MB8600 reboots every day at approximately 1:00 pm (every day shifts forward a little bit). This started after the programmed outage on May 23 in my area Katy TX related to the upgrade to 10G network.

I'd be frustrated as well with seeing this happen, @f20n, so I'm glad you thought to reach out here for our team to help! What troubleshooting steps have you already tried to check into this?

@XfinityCassandra​, I restarted the modem according to this instructions https://help.motorolanetwork.com/hc/en-us/articles/216091737-How-do-I-update-the-modem-firmware- to make sure that latest firmware is installed. Also I reset the modem (using the reset button in the back of the modem). The modem is connected to a router/access point.

Have you double-checked to make sure the modem's cables are still 'finger-tight'? We recommend checking where the coax cable connects to the back of the modem as well as at the wall outlet.

@XfinityCassandra​ ,yes, I checked the modem's cable are finger-tight. Also I do not have installed a splitter or any other device (never had with this modem). I have the coaxial cable coming directly form the outside box to the modem.
