Modem channels re-mapped, is this the beginning of DOCSIS 4.0?
Hello,
We recently had an unplanned internet outage in my neighborhood the other week (Tucson, Arizona). When the service came up, I noticed that my modem had a new version of software installed and that all the channels were re-mapped with two additional upstream channels added.
Is this part of the mid-split rollout to support Full Duplex DOCSIS?

Hello @azdeltawye Thank you for reaching out over our community forum page. Thank you for the screenshots. I would be happy to take a look at the programming for your equipment. Before we get started, could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this issue.
To send a "Peer to peer" ("Private") message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it

So the consensus from the Xfinity representative is: No, DOCSIS 4.0 has not been deployed yet and the changes that I observed on my node are just "normal maintenance upgrades". And, no ETA on when the rollout will be other than "soon"...
Looking at this a little closer, it appears that my node was upgraded from a 'Early sub-split' (5-30 MHz Upstream) to a 'Later sub-split' (5-42 MHz Upstream) topology. See attached graphic below.
It appears that they have a long way to go to reach the end goal since true Full-Duplex DOCSIS or DOCSIS 4.0 requires a high-split band plan.
