MOCA

Did you ever get this fixed?

My MOKA for my Tivo Mini with an Arris modem worked perfectly until Xfinity temporarily supplied me with their rental modem. I got my Arris modem to work again and Xfinity reprovisioned the Arris modem back into their system. Everything works OK EXCEPT when I click enable, then apply to MOKA settings in my Arris admin, the MOKA light never comes on, I lose internet (I waited 45 minutes and nothing happened).

I have to reset to get the internet back, but after trying to enable MOKA again 7-8 times, it just doesn't happen yet this same modem worked fine with MOKA for several years and up until this past Monday!

Xfinity says they do not do anything on their end, it is just something the customer enables on their modem.

Arris has no idea, but is escalating this but do not have much help they can correct this.

Is there anyone here that knows why it is no longer enabling and what I can do to get it to enable MOKA again?

Hi there @, thank you for posting to the forums. It looks like you're moving in the right direction as far as filing a claim and escalating with Arris, since they're the device manufacturer. Comcast is unable to make many changes to customer owned devices short of provisioning a bootfile and providing the firmware supplied from the manufacturer themselves. We don't have access to the internal settings, unfortunately.
