MoCA with screenbeam

My apartment complex ( with built in routers XB7 ) has terrible wifi coverage my pc only two rooms away gets only 15-20Mbps out of our 1200 download. I purchased a screenbeam 2.5 and plugged it into the coax in my room and enabled MocA thru 10.0.0.1. It works now but barely. Speeds are unsatisfactory coming in at 130Mbps. It’s also very unstable every 30-40 minutes the whole network crashes and the router restarts. Not to mention when it works it’s very unstable. For example, discord i’ll average a ping of 36 but every 10 or so minutes my ping jumps to 5000 for like a minute or two before recovering. Any ideas or fixes would be appreciated.

Hi there, @erikd30 Thank you so much for reaching out regarding the connectivity issues you are experiencing. I know firsthand how frustrating connectivity issues are. Since it's been a few days since you last posted, are you still experiencing connectivity issues?-Richard

@XfinityBrianH

Why does this have to go private at this point ? That kind of defeats the purpose of a public help forum such as this is, no ?...
