Moca help
I have the XFi Gateway modem, an Orbi Router (extender), and to Hitron Bonded MoCa 2.5 Adapters. I was getting poor internet signals throughout the house and I have tried everything. Had Eero's in the house (3 of them) and now upgraded to the Orbi. Finally XFinity changed my cable outside of the house since I have been having this issue for 20 years. They agreed that the cable outside was probably the issue. They confirmed the signal coming in is at 1.2G to my modem. I can get speeds around 600-700 right next to my modem but my office (where I work from) goes from 20-400. And it's random. Now with the new cable it looks like i'm getting at least 200 to my office. I have MOCA Adapters that I can't see to connect to my Mac.
I have a coax in my office and connected the Moca adapter to it. Changed my Gateway to enable moca. The lights on the adapter do not show a MoCa connection and the gateway says I do not have a moca device connected (but I do). I have tried putting a moca adapter prior to the Modem even though the modem is moca ready. And I have tried it without. I'm getting no where. I just want a steady signal in my office when I'm working. Any help?

Are there any coax cable splitters in the mix here ? If so, they need to be MoCA compliant (5 to 1675 MHz) such as this one;

You would also need to use a MoCA P.O.E. (Point Of Entry) filter on the input port of the first splitter off of the street drop to keep the signal in your premises and to keep the neighbor's signals out;

Here is what Xfinity insalled many years ago:
https://www.amazon.com/AMPHENOL-IPGH3M4-VF-Infinity-Premise-Splitter/dp/B07CQTHL33/ref=sr_1_1?crid=23ZUU2OT9ALAD&keywords=amphenol+ipgh3m4-vf&qid=1693758878&s=electronics&sprefix=amphenol+ipgh%2Celectronics%2C110&sr=1-1
On the input they have installed a Filter as well.

Ok that's a passive hybrid DOCSIS / MoCA splitter with 4 ports (M1-M4) being MoCA compliant. Are those the ports that are being used for your MoCA devices / network ? If so, perhaps that hybrid splitter is malfunctioning?
