MOCA help please

I'm not particularly network savvy and apologize in advance for the long post. I just want to include as much information as I can.

I recently swapped out a XB8-T modem for a new XB8-T suggested by the Xfinity team member at an Xfinity store. He suggested a new modem of the same model may increase my internet speeds, so I did. When I completed the set up everything worked in my house except for my wife's laptop, referring to her internet connection. A while back I set up a MOCA device to create an ethernet connection. We had an existing cable from the wall which used to be connected to a TV. It was a simple set up. Prior to the MOCA setup she was getting dropped a lot when she used our home wifi. I decided to try a MOCA device to create a more stable connection for her, it worked perfectly. I only needed to use one device because the coaxial light was lit. According to the MOCA instructions you didn't need to use both if this was the case. Now, I have no internet/ethernet signal and I didn't change anything but the modem. I've restarted the MOCA device several times, double checked the connections and restarted the laptop as well, no luck. Please help if anyone can, thank you.

MOCA brand is Actiontec   ECB6200

user_xdwi7x Thank you so much for reaching out for help with your MOCA adapter not connecting after a modem swap. The new modem may have MOCA disabled. Have you by chance, accessed your Admin tool options since you updated the modem?

If not, you would need to enable access in your Xfinity app first. Let me know if you need help with getting to that option.
