Moca filter
I have not had this issue in 8 years of having Xfinity until this weekend. I am seeking unwanted devices connecting to my network. I have tried to change passwords and wifi name. Nothing works. I have also tried to toggle on and off the MoCa filter but I am still getting devices connected. Any ideas.

You might be shutting off MoCA on your neighbors gateway. After you disable it, drop your WiFi or Ethernet connection, then connect again. Perhaps you'll be on another neighbors gateway then or perhaps yours.
How can you tell who's gateway you're on? Look at the MAC address/CM MAC address in the admin page, and compare it to the sticker on your gateway.
How can you fix the issue? Buy an MoCA Point of Entry Filter -- internet search for "MoCA PoE Filter". They're around $10 on amazon or walmart. You can get one at an Xfinity store and some people say they are free there. You can screw it to the back of your gateway if you do not have coax connected cable TV boxes or other MoCA gear. If you do, then it goes on the splitter that feeds the other jacks in your residence. If you can't find that or where the service enters your residence, or if the cable wiring is a cross wired mess, then don't use the installed jacks. Put in a splitter and run coax yourself. The splitter you buy is important. You'll need one that can handle up to 2500Mhz. You can get it barely working with a 1675Mhz splitter, but frequency response is a curve and cuts out at the end of the range. It's usually pretty stable in the middle band area.

FWIW. There is one possible caveat to using splitters that are capable of 2500 MHz. They are engineered for satellite TV systems, not cable systems. They can actually make performance worse by allowing line noise ingress at those higher frequencies that cable systems do not operate on. I have seen this personally in my travels and have had to remove them. I have never seen a MoCA performance rolloff problem with a 5-1675 splitter. YMMV.

@user_skejp5 Thank you for reaching out and letting us know about the issue with the unknown devices. Thank you as well for being a part of Xfinity for so long. You are in the right place for help! Nice job trying to change the network credentials, that is the first place I would have started as well. If the unknown devices are connecting via a moca POE filter may be helpful, and it would be placed at the ground block outside your home. Moca POE filters are required when you have our X1 cable boxes, and they would be installed with the cable service. Do you have our cable TV services? If so, a Moca filter should already be installed at the point of entry (POE) Do you have a leased gateway or a owned modem?
@EG and @flatlander Thank you both for your knowledge and attempt to help out!
