MoCA can not be disabled in gateway
I really don't have a need for MoCA, but the gateway will no longer let me disable it. I reset the modem to factory settings and it is automatically on. When I select to disable, and save. It looks like it is turning off. But, it stays enabled no matter what I do.
My biggest concern is I have 7 MoCA MAC addresses. Is this common? It also does not allow me to control privacy. I only use 4 devices with the wifi. Comcast is NO help whatsoever! I have had many MAC addresses show up that are completely unrecognized aside of that. I know all my MAC addresses including private. I hope someone can help me here. Thanks in advance!
Furthermore, since getting a new gateway from comcast. I can no longer remove unrecognized devices. Only make notes. Comcast could not help me with this at all. Nor pass me to someone who could help. Not even the manufacturer of the device I rent from them.
Seriously terrible company in so many ways. I have dealt with this and other unrelated issues on simple things for 1.5 months at no full resolve.

I just upgraded my speed to 600 Mbps. They pushed the TV trial on me, which I refused but they added it anyway. So, I had to contact CS twice for them to get rid of that. Now I keep getting unknown devices connected to my XFI gateway via MoCA and I can’t disable the damn thing. It just goes back to Enabled! I’ve changed my password, network name, and hid the SSID. The unknown devices won’t go away!

I can get it to shut off for about a day by disconnecting the coax cable from the back of the modem while leaving the ethernet plugged in to the computer so I can access the settings through a web page. Then you turn off MoCA and it stays off. But the next day it is enabled again. I'm getting a different modem this one has a microphone inside according to customer service but they won't tell me what it's for I'm talking about the xb7 modem
