MOCA band used by Set Top Box equipment.

I have a MoCA LAN that is sharing coax with my set top boxes.  I noticed that sometimes my remote STB hangs after a reboot or firmware update. I also noted that the STB's Mac address shows up on my Gateway/router connected devices list and that it has been served an IP address.  I assume that the STB thinks the Gateway/Router is its Master DVR/STB and of course, simply hangs. When this happens, I re-power up the remote STB and it usually reconnects to its DVR host - by chance.  In other words, there are two DHCP hosts on the same LAN and the remote STB is connecting to the wrong one, at least half the time.

To prevent this clash, I believe that I can configure my MOCA adapters to use a distinct MOCA frequency band from the band that Comcast uses.  Can someone provide the specifics on how to go about this?

Details:  I am using a purchased Arris SVG2482AC that is Xfinity compatible.  I do not use the Arris as a MOCA adapter. I use two Hitron HT-EM4 devices that operate on Mixed Extended Band D at 1100 hz.

@XfinityValerie You understand wrong, Val.  I don't need my equipment tested. I want to know how to get my MoCA and your equipment to work without interfering with each other.

So I have no Ethernet cords going to my router . But yet a device keeps connecting to Moca which kicks me off the Wi-Fi and causing lag as well. I’ve reset everything multiple times and I cannot disconnect from Wi-Fi because then I am unable to go into Moca and remove whatever device it is. Xfinity keeps having me just do resets which I’m sick of doing.

@user_c03a8a Yes, this is a diffferent issue. But I would disable MoCA on your gateway/router. The STB’s shouldn’t need to interact with it.
