MoCa adaptor breaking cable

Whenever I connect a MoCa adaptor to my network, two of the three cable boxes stop working completely. The equipment is kind of old, can I just update to get it to work, or do I need to do something else?

Are your cable boxes X1? if so, they may depend on a moca connection and what you’re attempting is interfering. You might have to take a look at where/how your moca adaptors are set up.

Shoot. The two boxes are X1. Does this mean I can't have a MoCa network and cable going at the same time?

You just have to keep it separated from the X1 equipment. They all use moca to communicate
