MOCA adapter installed now pixelated picture
I installed a MOCA adapter to the cable coming into the house and one at the main cable/dvr box, now I’m getting pixelated picture on quite a few channels.
In from wall (main coax from outside) two way (1 in and 2 out) splitter to modem and MOCA adapter, then downstairs from wall to splitter to main box/dvr and other to MOCA adapter, and now getting pixelated picture, and sometimes not getting picture at all. Called xfinity they pushed updates, reset box multiple times, had me unplug it multiple times, etc... still getting pixelated picture, so I disconnected splitter and put the connected wall coax back to box, now everything is back to normal. Is there something I am missing? I was told by multiple people that MOCA would not interfere with the “tv” signal. Do I need a signal amplifier somewhere? Am I missing a step?! Frustrating that nobody at Xfinitys “techs” can help me.

Some splitters are better rated for MOCA. Do a search on Amazon to find them. Here is one example - Amazon.com: GE Digital 2-Way Coaxial Cable Splitter, 2.5 GHz 5-2500 MHz, RG6 Compatible, Works with HD TV, Satellite, High Speed Internet, Amplifier, Antenna, Gold Plated Connectors, Corrosion Resistant, 33526: Home Audio & Theater
Reading the comments also helps as they describe the issues and how fixed.
Also consider a filter at ingress to the house:
Amazon.com: Filter, MoCA POE Filter for Cable TV Coaxial Networking ONLY: Electronics
Finally, there are some good videos on Youtube that go over MOCA setup and troubleshooting.
I will try to find some of the links I saved.

FWIW, that splitter is more so engineered for satellite systems, not cable systems. It can actually make performance worse by allowing line noise ingress at those higher frequencies that cable systems do not operate on. Gold colored junk.
Here is a proper and a high-quality splitter for MoCA.
