Message when device is connected to my home network

Lately, when I connect my iPhone to my home wifi, I get a notification saying "A device called Apple Mobile Device just connected to you home network for the first time". This device has connected to my home wifi for years. Why is this happening and how can I fix it? I've already changed my password but that does not prevent this from happening. I also tried powering down the router. Please advise.

@XfinityBrandon I have accessed the notification and I already managed how I am notified. Now what should I do?

We have not made any calls to you, @user_99241b. Since you have responded to us via direct message, we can handle this part of the conversation there, as well!

I no longer work for Comcast.

@user_99241b,

newer iPhones will generate random MAC addresses under certain circumstances, which might be causing those messages.
