I have 500 MBPS service but only get around 100 mbps using ethernet connected laptop. I have ordered the 1 TB service and wonder if I will get at least 200 mbps? Why the discrepancy with what's offered and what's delivered?

user_876954 thank you for using the Community Forums page to reach out. I understand you are not receiving your full plan speeds despite using a wired connection, and I would like to get this resolved for you. Getting 1/5th of your intended plan speed is certainly much less than we want to see. Have you already attempted any troubleshooting steps using the Xfinity Support site?
