MB8611 "can't keep up"

Hi. I keep getting email messages telling me that my modem is not fast enough to keep up with my Xfinity plan. I bought a Motorola MB8611 which shows up as one of the best options on the compatible devices page. So, why am I receiving these emails from Xfinity?  I would like to see higher speeds - I typically see <150Mbps when I run a speed test.   But the email provides a link to supported devices, and this one is listed as the fastest option.  So, why am I getting these emails, and what should I do to get better speeds?  Thanks.

@kjaslow Thank you for creating a public post at our request in addition to the private message regarding this issue. I'm glad we were able to confirm the speeds you were seeing were due to being on a wireless connection, and that we were able to remove the prior modem on the account that was likely the cause of these automated upgrade requests.
