Max upload speed for SB8200?

Hi,

I just wonder if anyone can get past 40 Mbps upload speed using SB8200? I saw on Reddit that someone said he can get 200 Mbps with Cox Internet

Btw, I have 1.2 Gbps.

Thanks,

Comcast has approved only 4 retail devices for the higher upload speeds, and the SB8200 is not among them. See https://www.reddit.com/r/Comcast_Xfinity/wiki/knowledgebase/next-generation-internet/.

Thanks for the info. I was planning to get S33, but it seems I will not be able to get 200 Mbps either, even it is recommended modem by Comcast for my tier. Do you know when they will allow more devices getting higher upload speed?

Hello @LocDez, thank you for using the Xfinity Community Forum. With increased speeds only specific equipment is compatible due to manufacturer related reasons. Due to this, it is much more likely that newer equipment would be created which is compatible with higher speed tiers as apposed to older models being updated.
