Massive Packet Loss Spikes after recent network maintenance
I have noticed recently that after some work was done by Xfinity in my area, I will experience massive packet loss spikes and ping spikes while playing games every 5 minutes or so. It's sometimes so severe that I am disconnected from my game. I have tried many different troubleshooting techniques. I tried turning off all devices, and then tested each one individually to try and rule out that 1 device is causing visible congestion for all of them, I got ping spikes showing up regardless ruling out 1 device having a virus or something. Ran virus scans on them all as well just to be extra clean and nothing found. Tried updating my wifi drivers and that did nothing too.
Did this recent maintenance cause issues? I haven't experienced this before. What should I do?

Thank you for reaching out to our team. If you are still experiencing those issues I will be happy to look further into that from here. Can you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?
To send a direct message [private message]:
Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
