Not sure if this still works (YMMV), but as a workaround, you can try using an Android VM (Virtual Machine / emulator) app on your PC, like the MuMu player. Download the Xfinity app to it and do it from there. Good luck !

Same here, it just loops right back to the barcode page. They may have deliberately changed something, or the page is malfunctioning. Sorry.
