MAC address filtering
Since apparently I can't call for help (when did that start?), I'll try this here. My printer stopped in the middle of printing and lost WiFi connection. I restarted the printer and the modem, ran diagnostic and it's popping up with a fail in MAC address filtering. This happened with my last printer and was so unresolvable that I resorted to buying a new printer. But here I am with the same problem again. I can't find anything about how to turn this off on the Xfinity website. Anyone able to help me? Thanks.

You don't mention what brand of Printer you have, and you give very little information about the error you are getting. See if the 'fix' in this link works:

FWIW. If you are using a Comcast supplied gateway device, they do not have a MAC address filtering feature. Something else is going on.

You don’t mention your gateway, but when I had a xfinity rented gateway there was a section on MAC address filtering, there isn’t a tab/link to it, but it’s there, I accessed it by logging into the gateway, not thru a app, I believe it’s located under ‘connection’, I have my own equipment now so I can’t give you a exact location to it…

If they now have added a MAC address filtering feature to the firmware, unless you specifically have enabled it, it should be disabled by default.
