I got a used cable Modem. How Can I check if Xfinity accepts Modem's MAC address?

I contact Xfinity support group. They confirmed that my Modem is OK for Xfinity.

Try getting it activated and see if the system accepts it;

One should be careful if buying used modems from someone, charity outlets, or from sites like eBay. Many times, they wind up being listed in Comcast's database as having been stolen / unreturned, and they won't provision them for service. To be safe, buy only brand new modems in their original packaging from reputable retailers. Good luck !
