low download speed

I have X1 Pro+ and my download speed is 93.2 and upload is 35.5. I did get an email saying I got an increase in speed last week but I haven't seen a change. I had the virtual assistant check and it said that the signal was good and the Xfinity modem was fine. My account says I should get up to 1000 mbps.

Hi user_45qdn8, I'm glad to hear you received that email regarding the speed upgrades we made across our network. And I can imagine you're eager to take advantage of those. We may need to take a look at some signal issues, but before I do, I'd like to ask a few clarifying questions. Are you using a standalone/personal router along with your gateway? Also, are you seeing slow speeds on all of your devices or just one? And finally, are you testing over Wi-Fi, ethernet, or both types of connections?

I use just the Xifnity modem connected by  ethernet to my desktop computer nothing else is being used.

I did a speed test by wifi with my phone and it was 87 down 39 up

porcupine If you are encountering the same issue as the original poster, I would recommend starting with the troubleshooting available in the Xfinity app. If there is an issue with the speed provisioned to the modem the troubleshooting should pick that up and send the correct signals for you. Have you already attempted the troubleshooting using the Xfinity app?

ive done this many times and nothing changes it stays 90 to 98 mbps and upload to 35
