Long-time Platinum customer looking for loyalty Internet upgrade offer before switching to AT&T Fiber
Hello,
I am hoping someone from the Xfinity team can review my account before I make the difficult decision to switch providers.
I have been a Xfinity Internet customer since June 2021, I am currently a Platinum member in Xfinity Rewards, I use AutoPay, and I have always been happy with the reliability of the service.
My current service is Internet Essentials Plus (100 Mbps for $29.95/month).
Recently, I scheduled a callback through the Xfinity website to discuss upgrade options, but unfortunately I never received the call. After waiting several hours, I called customer service myself.
The representative was very courteous, but the only option offered was a 2 Gbps package for about $70/month bundled with a mobile line. Unfortunately, that is well outside my budget, and I am not interested in adding mobile service.
Since then, AT&T Fiber has become available at my address. I now have a written quote for Fiber 300 Mbps with a final monthly cost of approximately $30 per month (after eligible discounts), gateway included, plus a $300 Reward Card.
Before making the switch, I wanted to ask if someone from the Xfinity team could please review my account for any loyalty or retention offers that may not have been available during my phone call.
I am not asking Xfinity to beat AT&T's offer. However, if there is any loyalty offer that would allow me to upgrade to approximately 300 Mbps while keeping my monthly cost around $30, I would gladly stay with Xfinity. I truly prefer to remain your customer if a comparable option is available.
