latency spikes during peak hour

Hello,

Ever since I moved to our new construction home 2 yrs ago, I've been having latency spikes and packet losses every day during peak hours (4pm-10pm). I've been monitoring the latency for a few days and it seems like the pattern is very consistent, with little to no latency spike during the rest of the day. It's a single family home and I'm the only user of the internet. The computer is running on ethernet cable, and I've been getting the same result when connecting directly to the modem. Any suggestion?

Hey there user_8cnvkn 👋 I'm glad you've come to us with your recent findings, and you're in the best place for help! The fact that you're seeing those spikes and packet losses during peak hours certainly isn't too uncommon, but nonetheless we always want to make sure you're operating as strongly as possible at all times as well. Outside the readings themselves, has your usage in the home been impacted during these times too?

I've been experiencing a sever surge in download speeds the last couple of days around 4/5pm. My plan is a 1.5GB plan, I've never had issues before until the last 3 days. I've followed instructions from the support line in restarting my modem, updating my network drivers on my pc. I cannot play any video games, watch youtube, or even online chat without disruptions. I've added my current download speeds as well
