Latency/ jitter daily

Speeds are normal but latency/jitter is erratic, mostly in afternoon and evening. Makes working, streaming, gaming, etc. very difficult.

Packets: Sent = 50, Received = 50, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 11ms, Maximum = 192ms, Average = 40ms

 

Is this something that can be fixed? I've seen numerous posts with the same type of problem but no assurance from Comcast that this is being worked on.

I'm experiencing excessive jitter as well, support was of no help.... probably due to congestion in Xfinity's network. Make sure your connected via wired ethernet as WiFi is prone to interference and that will cause jitter.
