LAN port stops responding in bridge mode

I configured my Xfinity modem to work in bridge mode. It works for a period of time then the LAN port that is connected to my network router goes dead and there is no internet connection. The only fix that works is to reset the Xfinity router back to factory settings and re-enable bridge mode from scratch, at which point the LAN port starts working again and everything is back to normal. I've done this reset routine 4 or 5 times, with a time period of several weeks in between, although I've had to do it twice in the last 2 days. I tested the cables and they are fine. I switched cables and it makes no difference. Is there a software or hardware issue with the Xfinity router that would cause the port to go dead after a while? Here is my setup.

Hello @brentvel! Thank you for sharing your experience, and posting the screenshot. Have you tried using other ports on the modem? Do you have any other devices that you can test using this port?

On the back of your modem can you try using the port in the lower right corner to see if this helps any?

@

user_612cf2   Thank you for reaching out regarding bridge mode, have you tried all of the ports? Are there any troubleshooting steps you've already taken? Are you using the Admin tool or the Xfinity App to set up bridge mode?
