So under advanced settings on my xb7, i go under LAN, and only see ipv4...Also, under DNS servers i only see one for ipv4...is this normal or am i not connecting via ipv6?

Try this test to see if your gateway device is at least getting an IPv6 address assigned to the WAN. https://test-ipv6.com/

Ok, so those are not "exclamation points". They are i's, which stands for information. You've got 10 for 10 so you are being assigned an IPv6 public / WAN IP address. You should have dual stack so you should see both an IPv4 and an IPv6 address. Whether or not that IPv6 is being propagated / delegated to the LAN clients is a another story.

In your computer's network adapter settings you should see something similar to this;

The bottom IPv4 addresses for you will not look like mine. Your XB7 addresses will begin with 10.0.0.xxx
