Labtop unable to locate home wifi network
For the longest time, my laptop is unable to locate my home Wi-Fi network. I have to use an ethernet cable to get on the internet. Figured it was an issue with my laptop. But if I take my laptop with me on vacation and use it at a hotel, it locates and connects to the hotel Wi-Fi just fine. So my issue must be with my comcast account, but I am not sure where to look and what to do to fix it. My cell phone, home cameras and amazon firesticks all locate the wifi fine, but not my laptop. Kind of tired of using the ethernet cable. Where do I look to resolve this?

Greetings, @cevans6318! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues connecting your laptop over WiFi, but you have definitely come to the right place for assistance.
You mentioned your laptop can connect to WiFi networks outside your home, and your other devices can connect to your home WiFi signal without any issues, but the laptop will not connect to your home WiFi, corret? Can you tell me a little more about what's happening? Can you see your WiFi network name (SSID) in your laptop's network settings window, or is it missing?
If you can see the network SSID but cannot connect to it, then you should be able to restore the connection by right-clicking on your network name and choosing the "Forget" option. Once you forget the network, you should be able to go back and establish a fresh connection with your network password. You may need to restart your laptop first, depending on your network settings.
If forgetting the network does not help, the next step would be to release and renew your IP address from the laptop's Command Prompt window. You can find the steps to do this here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/releasing-and-renewing-ip-address
If your network SSID is not visible from your laptop, then there may be a different issue happening. You can try doing a "Network Reset" on your laptop and see if the network appears afterward. That one will most likely require a restart. Please let me know if this issue persists or if you have any questions.
