Just got a new Wi-Fi gateway, and I cannot get it to connect to the Internet.

hi. I just got a new Wi-Fi gateway from Xfinity and I’m following the instructions to get it set up and I cannot get it to work connecting to the Internet. Every time it asks me to sign into my account and I put in my correct ID and password it brings up the sign in screen again and I can never sign in.
