I've recently upgraded to XB8 and started to get disconnect issues
I use the XB8 in bridge mode, and then use my own wireless router for Internet access (for all my devices). Ever since the upgrade, I get intermittent disconnects between my pc that is hardwired to my router. I wrote a ping script that will ping my router, the XB8 (gateway), and google. When the disconnect happens, I can still ping my router but can't ping the XB8. So I thought it was the connection between my ASUS router and the XB8. I replaced the cable, changed ports, etc, and the problem persists. Is anyone seeing the same issue? I'm thinking that it's something that the XB8 does from time to time, which is rather annoying because I lose Internet connection for like 30 seconds. This happens several times per day.
Things I've tried:
- Updated the Intel ethernet drivers on my NIC (PC)
- Replaced the cable between my PC and my router
- Replaced the cable between my router and the XB8
- Switched ports between my PC and router
- Switched ports between my router and XB8
I'm not sure what else to try.

I am having the same issue with the same setup. The weird thing about it is, when my Internet goes "down," I can still reach Apple and Google, but I can't reach most other websites, including Xfinity. Sometimes it reconnects shortly, sometimes I need to a hard reboot of the modem and routers. Very annoying. Have you discovered a root cause for this issue?
