Issues With Tech Appointment
I am having significant issues with a tech appointment and making no progress after sitting on hold on the phone, chatting online with representatives, and wasting an incredible amount of time. On Wednesday, a tree service company knocked down my Xfinity lines. I have now been without internet for 4 days. I contacted Xfinity several times yesterday and confirmed a “guaranteed” appointment between 5 pm and 7 pm today. I received multiple calls today to confirm the appointment. All were answered and confirmed. Then, during my appointment window I received a call that the tech was “unable to arrive during the appointment window.” I then left my home to run an errand. Then, during that 20 minute timeframe, I received an automated message that the text was on his way (even though I just received a call that they would NOT be arriving). I rushed home and by the time I arrived home, I received a message that my appointment was cancelled. Not once did I receive a phone call from an actual human. Now, I’ve been on hold for hours with no resolution and am being offered an appointment for Wednesday. That means an entire week without internet and I work from home. In addition, wires for Xfinity are just dangerously laying across my driveway and next to my car and over my bushes. Not only is this unacceptable customer service, but also a danger that should be addressed IMMEDIATELY.
