Issues with new Netgear CM3000

We have been having issues with connection drops multiple times throughout the day for the past 1-2months which makes normal internet browsing difficult and streaming/gaming almost impossible. We are currently paying for the Gigabit Plan and we had recently purchased a new Modem and Router (Not from Xfinity) since I had thought that our old router/modem combo was reaching its end. Today we had a technician come out to check the internet line, he had stated the line outside and inside the house was fine however when he tested the modem he said there was a drop in up/down speeds. I logged into the modem itself and it came up with warnings and errors, as well as saying there was a partial upstream connection.

Example:

-16 consecutive T3 timeouts while trying to range on upstream channel

-Dynamic Range Window violation

I was looking into Netgear's website to see if there were any mentioned issues and some people were saying it was an issue with a firmware update. The firmware we have is V6.01.04 which some people were saying was causing issues and after requesting a rollback to V5, their internet went back to normal. According to Netgear's website the firmware that is listed is a V5.

I would like to see if this rollback helps and any additional support for this issue would be greatly appreciated.
