Issues with my internet connection

My internet service goes up and down. I have a fully installed SMART house.  Internet outages turn everything off in my house and makes my operations dysfunctional.  It also damages all the equipment, software, and programs.  Why does this occur and where can I call someone to resolve the issues.  Perhaps I need to be converted to a business account or you need to bring fiber into my house. I am really frustrated  with this poor service.  What number do I call now for service?   1800-266-2278 appears only to be for billing and orders and the automation cannot even find my number. This is ridiculous.  Why do you tell one to go to the web site when internet service is  down and I cannot get on the internet.  Cell towers do not work well in my house.  Maybe you need to have a service number for those of us who have fully integrated smart houses.  Surely you understand the implications of internet outages.

Thanks for reaching out to us, as a customer who works from home I understand how important it is to have a steady connection. This link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/internet-connectivity-troubleshooting has great information on how you can troubleshoot your Internet connection through our awesome Xfinity app. If there's no service interruption in the area that's being worked on you can go through some remote troubleshooting steps with our awesome Xfinity chat assistant. If the issue cannot be resolved with the chat assistant you will then be connected to an awesome chat agent that will go through some remote troubleshooting steps as well to see if it can be resolved and if it cannot be resolved remotely they will schedule for a technician to come to your home to find and resolve the connection issues 

 

If there is a service interruption in the area our awesome Xfinity app will keep you updated on when the services should be restored
