Issues after upgrading from gigabit x2 to 2x2 gpbs symmetric

Did this plan change today. Now getting half the previous upload speed (300mbps down to around 150) and only getting about 1200 mbps down.
Disconcertingly 85%+ of settings are now gone from the admin page of the xb8 after config was pushed down. I cannot put in bridge mode. I cannot turn off 2.4, 5, or 6ghz wifi bands. I cannot investigate spectrum diagnostics to troubleshoot the new mid-split connection to achieve the 2gbps upload.

I've tried resetting the modem several time. I've tried "activating" again from the xfinity app. Xfinity account through web shows I have the new plan. Xfinity app is a bit more confused as it says download is 2.1gbps when the new plan is 2gbps down/up. Internet testing of the gateway from the app only tests download and is getting 66% of plan speed.

Super disappointed and frustrated. Especially by the xb8 admin page changes and restrictions. I can't have a piece of equipment this locked down and keep my account. It's too much.
