Issue with ADT compatibility

Late August apparently there was some work done on our street by Xfinity and our WiFi is now WPA3 which is not compatible with our ADT cameras which require WPA2 (what we had prior to the updates). ADT won't do anything about the equipment but says we need to figure it out with Xfinity or switch to a different ISP. Can I go back to WPA2? Don't necessarily want to, but also unable to get out of the ADT contract

Not sure if this works anymore. YMMV.

Using the Xfinity app: Sign in with your Xfinity ID and password. Go to the WiFi tab. Select WiFi details. Click Edit WiFi settings. Use the drop-down menu to change your Security mode to WPA2-PSK. Select Save.

I appreciate your quick reply. I was able to find the WiFi settings in my account, however there is no option other than WPA3-Personal in the drop down menu

YW ! That figures..... Sorry. If you are using one of their rented gateway devices, you could place it into bridge mode and use a third-party router with it that has this feature toggleable.
