Is this FDX?

Got this in an email today. I have to believe we are finally getting FDX as I was told a few month ago by a tech that my area would skip midsplits and just go straight to FDX. If so what sort of speeds and I looking at as I have an XB10 modem I got a couple of months ago from an Xfinity store.

An update on your services

Continuing to enhance the Xfinity network

Bringing customers like you the ultimate internet experience is always our number one priority. In the coming days, we'll be doing work in your neighborhood to continue the evolution of our next-generation Xfinity network. This will ultimately allow us to offer equally fast, multigigabit upload and download speeds and is yet another example of how our network is constantly evolving so you can have a powerful connection today and a faster, more reliable tomorrow.

We're scheduled to do work in your area on 01/09, affecting service at XXXX XXXXXX Ave. While we will make our best effort to stick to the dates provided, sometimes factors beyond our control – like weather – may cause us to shift the schedule. We'll confirm via text the day before work starts.

How this work will affect you

You can expect service outages while our teams work to make these enhancements. They will work as quickly and efficiently as possible to limit the duration of these outages and finish work within the day. This downtime will affect all your Xfinity services, and if you are an Xfinity Voice customer, be aware that you will not be able to call 911 from your wired phone line during this time.

How to stay informed

Please take a moment to confirm your mobile number is up to date on your account. We will send automated text updates, including a reminder the day before work is scheduled to begin and when service is restored.
