Is there a way to ONLY reset the admin & password on the modem?

Hi-I want to access my admin account but the password I have is incorrect. I have many, many smart things so I don't want to reset my network name and password. I have read similar postings and it looks like I am out of luck but am posting this topic again in the hopes that there is an answer out there that I like 😉.

If you are talking about the credentials for accessing the user interface / settings pages for the Comcast rented gateway devices, then the only way to change them is to reset the device back to factory defaults, unfortunately.

The creds will then become the defaults of admin for the username and password for the password.

My comment was directed to XfinityKei. And to answer the question about changing the password, no I haven't changed it. I have too many smart things that makes changing the password way, WAY, WAY too complicated.
