Is there a way to get data usage history on a per day history?
The data usage dashboard for Comcast/Xfinity is 99.9% useless. It does me no good to tell me that I’m well on my way to going over my limit before the month is over while only showing my total to-date usage for the month.
If I could see how much data was used per day (or even better when does data usage peak during the hours of the week?), then I could have a better idea of how to manage my throughput better. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to track this better (FYI, pretty much an Apple-only household)?
I also find it odd that as soon as they put the 1TB plan into effect, my data usage spiked, like more than twice my historical usage. I tried to read the “mega thread” on the subject, but it’s pointless. It’s clearly a war of quashing legitimate questions from customers without providing answers.

I believe the only way to get a daily breakdown with Comcast's meter is to log-in daily and calculate the deltas yourself. The xFi app can break it down by device. If you want more detailed information, then you probably want to install your own router. There is more info about routers in the (alleged pointless) megathread at the top of this forum.
