Is there a way to change the xFi gateway scheduled restart window?

Currently, my xFi gateway restarts every night around 3 am.  I work at night from home, so the interruption is always in the middle of my "workday".  Is there a way to change the scheduled restart time to something more convenient for me?  Thanks!

Hello, schin26! Thanks for reaching out to us on the forums! I apologize to hear of the issues you are running into with your services restarting around 3 am every night. As we work from home ourselves we understand the importance of having a reliable connection. When it comes to modem restarts there's nothing set up on a timer. The modem is considered always on. At times, firmware could be pushed to the modem, but that can happen at any time. I would recommend the following when you notice the issue happening:

1. Check the Xfinity app to see if there is any planned maintenance or service interruptions going on.
2. Perform a reboot from the app to see if the issues is resolved.

3. Attempt a power cycle on the modem if the issue continues (unplug the power cord for 30 seconds and then plug it back in.)
4. If you still notice the issue happening, check to see if your coax cable from the back of the modem is going to a wall plate or to a splitter. If it goes to a splitter see if you can bypass it and plug it directly into the wall plate.

Please let us know if you continue to have the issue of your modem resetting at 3 am.
