Is my modem properly provisioned?

I recently upgraded my internet service from the 1.2 Gig tier to the 2 Gig tier. My account shows 2 Gig / 250 Mbps service. My (customer-owned) modem is locking upstream channels only up to 36 MHz, indicating low-split plant. My upload caps at ~40 Mbps and download caps at ~1.13 Gbps. This indicates to me that I'm still on the 1.2 Gig tier. Please confirm whether my node is upgraded to mid-split and whether customer-owned modems are eligible for the 2G enhanced profile.

If you own your own modem it must be capable of supporting DOCX 3.1 High Split speeds with greater than 200 Mbps upload.  There are only a few on the market currently and they are in short supply.  Netgear CM3000 being one that is available.

@EG Motorola MB8611, but a previous comment prompted me to revisit Comcast's list of approved modems. The Motorola MB8611 is not on the list for 2G tier. Thanks for commenting.

user_htd8tc Were you able to find a modem that is compatible for our enhanced speeds? We can also get you a Xfinity Gateway to try out.
